About Roadkill Digest

Roadkill Digest highlights in sensationalist tabloid format, unusual and bizarre reports, images, and videos involving animals and especially cruelty to animals, many of which are initially publicized by major news feeds. The frequency of which we blog primarily depends on the frequency such reports come to our attention via major news feeds.

The PETA, Humane Society, WSPA, and Yahoo Animals & Pets News websites linked above frequently have new reports. We normally do not duplicate on this blog reports that are already publicized on the linked websites.

We normally do not bother to report on unfortunate but common cases of animal abuse such as illegal dogfighting, cockfighting, and eccentric/demented homosapiens discovered to be hoarding many pets inside their homes in filthy conditions.

Links on some of the older reports on this blog may no longer open, being that some news sources don't leave their articles online permanently.

For the record, Roadkill Digest is adamantly opposed to the abuse and torture of animals. The killing of an animal by homosapiens should only be for a practical purpose, and be as swift and painless as possible.

Roadkill Digest does not advocate or oppose vegetarianism. Nature is predatory, and there are a variety of species from the animal kingdom that will intentionally main, kill, and consume homosapiens whenever they have the opportunity, which we also sometimes publicize with related news reports on this blog.

Roadkill Digest does not necessarily agree with all of the positions and actions that animal rights organizations take, including those with links to their websites on this blog. Likewise, entities depicted on this blog and the websites linked on this blog do not necessarily endorse or approve of semi-satirical Roadkill Digest.

Roadkill Digest supports Native American sovereignty, which includes indigenous nation self-determination regarding traditional hunting, fishing, and whaling practices. Roadkill Digest opposes interference of such by outsiders, both governmental and private. For that reason we do not include a link to the "Fund for Animals" website on this blog, being that said pro-animal rights but anti-Native American rights organization has attempted to initiate force against the Makah Nation of Washington State through the U.S. federal government over their traditional annual whaling rite.
